The grignolino grape is thought to be unique to Piedmont and this is the area where it originated, in the Monferrato hills. An unusual find and in the hands of winemaker Pio Boffa, it really is singing. This fresh light-bodied Italian red has elegance and juicy strawberry and sweet raspberry perfume, refreshing acidity and a pretty finish.
